The AZHA and the AZ Chapter memorializes Brothers who have departed to the Chapter Eternal through the Chi Phi Memorial Fund ("CPMF"). This scholarship fund has been endowed by alumni, friends and family of the AZ Chapter through the University of West Georgia Foundation and is actively overseen by the AZHA. At Founder's Day each year, four Awards are now presented:

The Scott Taylor Award ($300) established in 1985 as a tribute to Scott's hard work in the founding and development of the AZ Chapter. Scott was a member of the first initiating class of the AZ Chapter and was known for his inspirational loyalty to the Chi Phi Fraternity. The recipient must be an active brother of the AZ Chapter and have a minimum GPA of 2.2 and demonstrate financial need;

The Adam Frentheway Award ($600) established in 1987 as a tribute to Adam's inspirational dedication and loyalty to the AZ Chapter, the recipient must be an active brother of the AZ Chapter and shall have a minimum GPA of 3.0;

The Randy Nichols Award ($600) established in 1999 as a tribute to Randy's memory, the recipient must be an active brother of the AZ Chapter and must have a minimum GPA of 2.2;

The Eric Crenshaw Award ($600) established in 2006 as a tribute to Eric's memory and dedication to the AZ Chapter, the recipient must be an active brother of the AZ Chapter, must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, must have served as an elected officer of the AZ Chapter and must participate in athletics.
The CPMF has traditionally been supported by an annual Golf Tournament from which the proceeds are donated to the UWG Foundation. As of April 30, 2008, the CPMF totaled just over $57,000 and in 2008 the AZHA presented $2,100 in scholarships to deserving Chi Phi Brothers at Founder's Day.
